Spontanfika is Swedish for “spontaneous coffee break”, and that’s just what these events are. Never announced more than four hours in advance, Spontanfika is a very informal gathering of a diverse mix of people living in (or visiting) Berlin. The recurring theme of each fika is great coffee, since the meetups always are scheduled at spots from Berlinow’s list of the Best Coffee Bars in Berlin.
