More and more of Berlin’s neighborhoods is getting parking meters. Next in line are parts of Pankow and Prenzlauer Berg.

As of today, there are 36 districts in Berlin with paid street parking, and by 2020 that number will be at least 85 and cover most of Berlin inside the S-bahn ring.

If you’re thinking about taking a risk and park your car without paying: Don’t. The Berliner Ordnungsamt is patrolling the streets like ants on a candy stick.
